When to organize a PDF

How to reorder and delete PDF pages

  1. Tap Choose a PDF. Every page appears as a small picture with its number.
  2. Move a page with ← (earlier) and → (later).
  3. Remove a page with ✕. It turns grey and stays in place; ↺ brings it back.
  4. Turn a page with ⟲ and ⟳.
  5. Tap Make my file, look at the first page of the new PDF, and download it.

Organize or split?

When you already know the page numbers, Split PDF is quicker: type 1-3, 5 and it is done, with an optional KB limit. Organize is better when you need to see the pages to decide. To bring in pages from other files, join them first with Merge PDF, then arrange the result here.

What happens to the pages

Pages are copied into the new PDF as they are: typed text stays sharp and can still be selected, and scans are not saved again, so the file only shrinks by the pages you remove. If the new PDF is still over your form's limit, make it smaller with the PDF compressor.

Worked example

A 6-page scan for a scholarship form: the back of the income certificate (page 2) came before its front (page 3), page 5 is blank and page 6 is a document the form does not need. Tap → under page 2, ✕ under pages 5 and 6, then Make my file. The new PDF has 4 pages in the order 1, 3, 2, 4.

Questions people ask

How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Tap ✕ under each page you do not want, then Make my file. The removed pages turn grey until then, and ↺ brings one back.
Can I change the order of the pages?
Yes. Move each page earlier or later with the arrow buttons under it; the new PDF follows the order on screen.
How many pages can I organize?
Up to 300 pages. For a longer PDF, split it into parts first.
Does it reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are. Only a PDF that blocks editing is saved with its pages as pictures, which still read the same.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your browser draws the pages and makes the new PDF on your phone or computer. Nothing is sent anywhere.
